Flowers Direct scoop North West Regional Business Award
"Flowers Direct have scooped a major award in the prestigious National Business Awards sponsored by Orange. Shortlisted as finalists in a whopping three categories, the National Business Awards have been recognised as "the Business Oscars" by Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown."

The National Business Awards are an independent programme recognising success, innovation and ethics across all vertical markets embracing businesses of all sizes and is now a fixed part of the UK Business Calendar.
Flowers Direct were awarded the AXA North West Regional Small to Medium Business of the Year award 2005, beating off stiff competition from other well known, well respected brands and ranking alongside household names such as the Royal Bank of Scotland and Telewest Broadband. Flowers Direct were also selected as finalists for the "Best Use of Technology" and "Best Growth Strategy" awards, having beaten off competition from dozens of other businesses to make the shortlist.
On winning the award for North West Small to Medium Business of the Year, Relay Director Ian Rawlins said, "Winning the award for business of the year is an unbelievable achievement, especially considering the strong competition."
